Volunteer Action

Volunteer Action and partners help refugees and internally displaced people fleeing war-torn Ukraine.

Our members have been supporting Ukraine since February 2022:

150 000 refugees assisted at shelters in Poland
300 refugees served by six mobile dental clinics
90 tons of humanitarian aid supplied to frontline regions

Complex problems require comprehensive solutions.

We are proud of all of our work in helping those wanting to leave Ukraine during the war. However, many Ukrainians do not want to leave their country for a variety of reasons.

FAMILY Reluctance to move abroad away from family members.
INCOME Hardship with language barriers and difficulty finding employment.
ANIMALS Complication of bringing pets and inability to find shelter for farm animals left behind.
CONTROL Lack of control in daily life and erosion of motivation due to lack of empowerment.

Our Experience

shelters

Our founders started and managed multiple shelters on the polish border which have been used by Ukrainians since the beginning of the war. They provided food, shelter, resettlement consultations, and medical/dental care.

transportation

Organize transportation and logistics for Ukrainian refugees who wish to relocate anywhere in the world.
